Studio Tonic's office Sale ...

Studio Tonic was very pleased to work side by side with the team at Chris Sale Consulting when they relocated to new premises at 17 The Parade Norwood. This fabulous villa provides a solid foundation for their busy cost management and quantity surveying business.

A simple black and white scheme was continued throughout the space, with timber highlights from the existing fireplace surrounds, and Eames furniture. The joinery, which utilised a new acrylic product from Baresque used for the first time in South Australia, was finely folded and crafted by Sprigg Joinery and Ideal Acrylic.

The simple Utility room joinery extends to include a striking hot desk in black, set off by the gorgeous Sayl chair by Herman Miller, used throughout the fitout.

Thank you to Chris and Jane Sale for engaging Studio Tonic. It was a great pleasure to work with you and your crew!

Studio Tonic plans ahead....

Studio Tonic is pleased to have been working with highly successful urban and regional planning firm, URPS, at their Fullarton Road offices for a number of years.  They recently expanded and we created new glazed offices to complement their open plan workstations, and opened up the boardroom to reception.  This change, together with the glimpses of the office visible through the slot opening, activates the space.

With the new office joinery soon to be installed, the team are finding the space great to work in, and very light and bright.  The glazing suite with sliding doors selected by Studio Tonic is good looking, space efficient and has sufficient seals to provide acoustic separation.  Looking good URPS! You can see the work of URPS at www.urps.com.au.

Government prequalfication...
Studio Tonic is super excited to have  been granted government prequalification with the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure.  The new 3M category allows us to work on government projects to a value of $1 million.  Studio Tonic is currently the only interior architecture and design firm in Adelaide with this prequalification.  We look forward to our first project!

Studio Tonic website...
Our website has had a recent facelift.  As well as including lots of pictures of our recent work, we've also shared some wonderful testimonials received from our clients.  Strong client relationships are key to our business, and we are proud to have received such great feedback!

Studio Tonic loves the seaside...

The Studio Tonic team is pleased to share a recently constructed project at Normanville.  This large home is built on a slope over two levels, affording magnificent vistas of the sea and golf course from every corner.

The Normanville house has become a restful weekend retreat for its owners, who leave the hustle and bustle of the weekly grind behind them whenever they arrive.  A restrained and sophisticated palette, richly patterned granite feature wall and solid timber detailing, provide glamour and charm throughout.

The ground floor encompasses a guest bedroom suite and open plan living areas overlooking an expansive deck.  Also on this floor is the grand entertaining kitchen, with fabulous connection to the outdoor courtyard kitchen which is protected from the wind.  Custom detailed furniture, built with finesse, highlights the quality and care put into the project by all involved.

The lower level encompasses bedrooms, including the master, and a study overlooking the beach with access to another deck.  The client's significant wine collection is housed in the cellar, which is conveniently serviced by a second kitchen.  Cleverly concealed behind full height doors and with a drop down microwave, the kitchen becomes a servery for nibbles and water when a serious tasting is in session.

Our lovely client has commented, "Our home has surpassed all of our expectations in quality and comfort, in no small part due to your inputs."  And, "Thank you for all the great work, ideas, organisation, concepts, colours, contacts, communications..... which were essential to creating our beautiful home."

Nothing has been left to chance here, with every function catered for.  Studio Tonic has shown that streamlined and low maintenance can still be gorgeous, welcoming, and luxurious.
